This week on Imgur it was all about personal victories. An Imgurian stood after 9 months of being paralyzed, a cat ran for Senate, and we all achieved something special; we survived the final Presidential debate. In case you were busy working out who to vote you and missed all the great stuff on Imgur, don’t worry, we’re here to catch you up!
In case you missed it…
1. Imgurian CarunOfTheUnderworld shared a momentous occaision with the Imgur community. He was hit with Guillien Barré Syndrome in January 2016 and has been fighting his way back from complete paralyzation. This week he was able to stand for the first time and was excited to share the awesomeness!
Then, on the same day, he shared with us another huge update.
Update: this was this morning! First time without that stupid wheelchair!
2. As we draw nearer and nearer to Halloween with each passing day, Imgurians have been sharing their spooktacular creations with the community.
3. During a home renovation, this Imgurian found some treasure left over from the 1950s. What seemed like just a dusty suitcase was soon revealed to be so much more.
Incredibly, the Imgurian found more suitcases after the first one!

5. Imgurian mollyballoons has an incredible job. She makes and models dresses made entirely from balloons. This week, she showed us what the dresses look like one month later.

6. Students shared their unique ways to celebrate a victory.

7. One man’s struggle to finish a deep dish pizza alone became OUR struggle as the community got involved.
8. These houses belong to home/land owners who have stood their ground and resisted demolition when they feel they are not being fairly compensated for the value of their land.
9. For over a year, Imgurian PilgrimJohn has been working as the guide at the Elephant Valley Project – the only elephant sanctuary in Cambodia. He’s here to explain the cruelty behind elephant tourism.
10. With over 2 million views, this dogs unique eating habits were shared widely across the Internet.
